Ho allegato una nuova foto del tuo orso, che come puoi vedere, continua a crescere e vivere felicemente tra i nuovi amici. In questo periodo dell'anno, quando gli orsi rallentano e dormono di più, forniamo loro un nutrimento extra (foglie fresche ed erbe) e paglia accogliente per i loro letti al coperto, nonché uno speciale divertimento natalizio per un loro maggior arricchimento .

Continuiamo a lavorare per porre fine all’estrazione della bile degli orsi - pressioni governative, leader scientifici e culturali in Cina e in Vietnam,  ottenendo sempre più sostegno per la nostra campagna.

La Cina ha visto anche quest’anno un enorme sostegno dell'opinione pubblica per il problema delle fattorie della bile, che continua a suscitare un appassionato dibattito pubblico. L’inedito documentario "Moon Bear", mostra gli orrori veri di questa industria, ha attirato oltre un milione di visite nelle prime 24 ore dalla sua presentazione durante la conferenza stampa di Animals Asia, ed ha continuato a vincere un importante premio cinematografico in Cina.

In Vietnam, continuiamo a lavorare per la piena applicazione delle leggi che vietano le fattorie della bile. I 13 orsi salvati lo scorso anno ora vivono tutti felici nelle tane, e la maggior parte di essi ha accesso al recinto,  libera di arrampicarsi sugli alberi e riscoprire la vita naturale dopo anni di privazioni.

Grazie per aver dato ad uno dei nostri maestosi orsi l'occasione di vivere dignitosamente, libero dal dolore e della tortura. Come ringraziamento per il tuo sostegno, abbiamo allegato il nostro Calendario 2013 come piccolo segno della nostra gratitudine.

We continue to work for an end to bear bile farming – lobbying government, scientific and cultural leaders in China and Vietnam, and gaining ever more support for our campaign.

China has seen a huge swell of public support for an and to bear bile farming again this year and it continues to arouse passionate public debate. The undercover documentary “Moon Bear”, exposing the true horrors of the industry, attracted over one million views in the first 24 hours of its release at Animals Asia press conference, and went on to win a major film award in China.

In Vietnam, we continue to work for full enforcement of laws banning bear bile farming. The 13 surviving bears from our rescue this time last year now all living happily in dens, and most have enclosure access, free to climb trees and rediscover their natural lives after years of misery.

Thanks you for giving one of our majestic bears the chance to live with dignity, free from pain and torture. In appreciation of your support, we’ve enclosed our 2013 Calendar as a small token of our thanks.
